Prior to the last campaign's kick-off, Diego Leon made a public appearance alongside Kunja, Mubmo, and Sheško at Old Trafford. The Paraguayan left-back has yet to fully integrate into the first team's training sessions this year and was unsuccessful in securing a loan move during the summer transfer window. Furthermore, he has not yet taken the field for Manchester United's U21 squad during the current season.
The significance of Manchester United's friendly encounter with Lausanne Sports was notably diminished due to the absence of at least 22 key players. Notable absentees included M'bembo, Zirkes, Shey Lesch, Bruno Fernandes, Tyler Fletcher, Andre Santos, Thiylemans, Dalot, Herv, Lisandro, Jim Swetz, Jack Fletcher, Mazraoui, Harry Armas, Yoro, and Lamens, all of whom are currently representing their national teams.
